‘Burung Kakak Tua’ is a traditional children song which are popular in Malaysia and Indonesia. The origin of the song is a bit blurry as some info suggests that it originated from the Maluku Islands while other info suggests that it was actually the Portuguese who brought the melody of the song to this region around the 18th century. What ever the case, till today this short tune continues to bring joy to childrens and adults a like.
